The installation of both GEC-CO Ground Source Heat Pumps and GEC-CO Air Source Heat Pumps are carried out by experienced teams of plumbers. All teams are fully trained by the manufacturers.
Whilst the installation is not complicated in most situations, experience shows that the success of the installation depends as much on the experience and knowledge of the Ground Source Heat Pump and Air Source Heat Pump installers as the initial Ground or Air Source design work.
Our teams of installers offer considerable experience in both domestic and commercial new build and retrofit properties with Ground Source Heat Pump and Air Source Heat Pump installations. The installations can connect to existing plumbing systems or installing new cylinders and heating systems
With our installation teams based in both Brighton and Southampton, GEC-CO installers easily cover the south of the UK.
GEC-CO installers regularly attend on-going refresher and up-date courses involving plumbing, electrical, refrigeration and heat pumps. Any new apprentices in the crews are sent on relevant proficiency courses before working on any heat pump installation.
As well as Heat Pump training courses provided by manufactures, all GEC-CO installers are certified in the following areas:
- Corgi/Gas Safe
- G3 - un-vented heating/hot water systems
- Electrical
- Refrigerant handing
This ensures that all installation work complies with current regulations.
